Well, I insalled Debian on my eeepc netbook. Mind you, it was the ASUS 1000HE, which was the first one that really was Linux-friendly and needed no proprietary device drivers. It was also one of the ones that Asus didn't provide a Linux version for, which necessitated paying the Windows tax.
