Hi Andre Just recall that this is not a released product, but Unity is a work in process. It can only change for the better over time.
Canonical is looking at the masses, not the linux gurus. The masses are 1000 to 1 versus gurus. As for Unity, I saw it on a netbook (which I loathe anyway) and was not impressed in the least. You can't find anything. Instead of Unity, it should be called IFD; Interface for dummies. Why? Because it just shows you the little thinghies you should click to get on the net... Sigh.
