Personally, I loathe Unity. It tries to be and do everything so it becomes difficult to find that program you use once in a while... However, I've installed it of the machines of a couple of grandmothers that were computer illiterate. They love it! "Oh, I didn't think computers were so easy!" they say. One of them had her son tell her to remove that junk (Linux) from her machine and use Windoze! She laughed at him when his machine was infected by an e-mail! But we all know that the interface will be vocal soon enough as per the 'ford-touch' car-driver interface from microsoft...
