Hi there. I see. Thank you. I also experienced the same shifting/scrunching up of a word with letters/words following "waaw" و , when used as a connector (meaning 'and' or used as an oath'), which when written, does not have a space between it and the following word, although they are technically two separate words, they are always written together. And I added a space following it, typed the rest of the word and deleted the space, and it corrected itself.
I am currently working on Unit 3 and hope to complete it today. I am also waiting to hear back from the publisher to see if I have permission to upload my flashcard sets with their soundclips (that may be copywritten). I hope they will grant it - and in the meantime, I am also waiting to hear back from Critical Language Services to learn more about http://www.criticallanguageservice.com/courses/independent . They require "a digital flashcard program," and I mentioned that I am using Mnemosyne. Will keep you posted. Thanks!
