Hi Jerod,

As someone already ointed out there has been considerable traffic on
several discussion boards regarding the Win 2K3 DNS. IMHO it would be
best for you to consider using a *nix box and BIND. For what it is worth
you would need far less hardware for a *nix DNS server.

I have actually seen a Pentium 133Mhz with 256Mb RAM handle approx.
30,000 domains taking a significant number of queries per second (the
domain took over 20,000,000 web hits a day! Approx. 1.5 million visitors
per day!).

Do any of you have any experience setting up a Windows 2003 DNS Server
as an ISP based solution?  We have some old DNS servers we need to
upgrade and we are going to use 2003 DNS and I would like to know what
pitfalls to watch out for.
