Hi Terry What age of car are you looking for? Where are you located? The early +4 and Moss box +8 are now expensive.
I have had +4s, 4/4s and now a 2006 Roadster. The +4s that I had were Vanguard engined four seater coupes. One 4/4 (1968) had the Ford Kent engine which I did not like at all. The other (1983) had the Fiat 1585cc (98hp) twin cam designed by the great Aurelio Lampredi. A splendid car. That was the last Morgan with a carburettor and distributor. In some ways I regret its going. (I've never had more than one Morgan at a time.) Later, the +4 had the 2 litre (122hp) injected version, although a very few had 2 litre carburetted engines and were badged as 4/4. I like my Mk I Roadster, 3 litre V6 with Getrag gearbox (226hp). My 4/4 TC, with the Fiat engine, would climb steep hills at over 80mph in third. The Roadster accelerates very well up steep hills and against a 30mph head-wind. All my Morgans have been comfortable and weatherproof.
