Just saw this discussion.

I've heard the same things.  I have a few autographed lobby cards which are
fun to have and not especially valuable otherwise so if you're not buying
them for investment purposes or re-sale then I guess it's moot.

Mine have Ray Milland's autographs and I like the cards.  More importantly,
my husband likes them, too, and didn't complain when I bid.
