Ground advantage uses USPS for the last leg, not good. Since late November/early December I have seen USPS average delivery times get longer and longer. It is taking about 3 weeks for priority mail coming out of my post office in Iowa. The midwest and midsouth seem to be the absolute worst areas of the country getting packages processed from USPS right now. Chicago, 4 hours from me drive, 3 weeks to get a parcel there, explain that one.
Now these are all tubes as well, so maybe they are being hand sorted and thats the issue. I have went 100% UPS until USPS can get back to me with what exactly the issue is. I have used USPS for 25+ years cause they actually cover damaged shipments or the occasional one in 5000 that actually do get lost. UPS, cant talk to anyone, never have gotten a single claim paid out, but yes, their on-time delivery is not even on the same planet as the post office right now.
