The bottom line is there is no good option anymore. You just have to go with what you are comfortable with, or the least of the worst. I will continue to use USPS even with the issues. At least on a personal note I think they make more effort to at least get it into the correct hands and will try to get it to a person. Years ago UPS threw a package I ordered over a back wood fence, had no idea, after it rained I found it. Fedex and UPS made the decision a while back that if they throw a package out or leave it on a porch (even medicine), they will just let you deal with it and try to get your money or a replacement. They will never take the time to actually talk to a human, just leave and go.
