A recent eBay purchase which shipped USPS Ground Advantage on January 17th coming from Mississippi to Ohio really went astray. Tracking completely stopped on January 20th. Then just when I thought the package was lost, tracking magically reappeared on January 31st in Nashville TN, finally making it to my mailbox on February 3rd. 17 days to deliver a package is nuts. I’ve also recently had tracking just stop on mail order prescriptions causing delayed delivery. I thought RX’s got priority handling from USPS. Pay more—get less. Today’s unreliable package delivery reminds me of the Postal Service’s “cheap” Media Mail back when I was in college. That “service” could take weeks for a book/record/CD to arrive. I don’t think the postal service should be proud of their current delivery stats. Something is up that’s for sure. I am mainly selling rolled posters for under $10, so I hate to have to charge quite a bit more for the other carriers, etc. Lately I am having about 1 in 8 or a little less get really delayed, tracking just stops, etc. This seems to only be tubes, the flats don't seem to have issues. Just wondering if it is a regional issue?
