Hey Tony, I mainly use USPS Priority Mail and it's not unusual but now actually more often than not, it's been taking 2-3 weeks for Priority Mail which normally is supposed to take just 2-3 days.
Most of my packages are rectangular boxes approximately 15 x 12 x 3 inches. One was shipped on January 2nd and the last tracking shown was January 6th and it still hasn't been delivered more than a month later. Although Priority Mail comes with $100 free insurance, the poster in this particular package was valued at $150. The good thing is, the Post Office will pay a claim promptly including postage paid but after I refunded the buyer yesterday, I'm still out $50. I'm just glad the poster wasn't more expensive. Besides filing a claim which can't be done till 15 days after shipped, you can also file for them to start looking for the package. I did this last week and it was probably a waste of time since I haven't heard a thing besides an email that they're supposedly looking for it. It's no wonder the Post Office is losing billions of dollars each year. As bad as the Post Office is, I've had much worse experience with FedEx and UPS, which I use to use exclusively. Not to start a post on which carrier is best, but I use them for cost. I am mainly selling rolled posters for under $10, so I hate to have to charge quite a bit more for the other carriers, etc. Lately I am having about 1 in 8 or a little less get really delayed, tracking just stops, etc. This seems to only be tubes, the flats don't seem to have issues. Just wondering if it is a regional issue?
