It takes a little more effort and an extra box, I put all of my tubes into
(baseball) bat boxes and seem to have pretty good track record of on time
delivery no matter which service I’m using - even USPS ground advantage. I
get the boxes from U-line. I will cut the box down a little if it is a
shorter poster in a shorter tube. So far, this has avoided the famous FedEx
round – tube surcharge.
As of January 1, I no longer use USPS because of the overall delays and
because they no longer on their insurance
