It doesn't sound like a safe place.  What happens if you rip the 
shell from a turtle?   They may die.

I tossed my shell once, and felt wonderful, and was thunderstruck 
that I had ever chosen to carry such a burden. But I was very, very 
high, and in a very safe place.

Who chooses to be there?   Who chooses to surrender?  Who chooses to 
change under those conditions?  I don't know the situation, but it 
does not sound good.  Why did you bring up 'safety'?

I don't like many social systems either.  Many seem very sick.  And 
social definitions seem upside-down and backwards.  What do you think 
of the Social Level?
