So true. At work I feel like I'm constantly
plugging holes in a leaky dam with no rest on my part.
Am I just holding off the inevitable? A dam that
will break? I do notice 'things' getting by us, and
not being addressed. The leaks are getting passed the
front-lines here. They are flowing off campus into
that world beyond these residential facilities. Rain
drops don't flood a midwestern town, but a storm, one
right after another does.
Universities learning never mentioned anything
about this actual experience, but then again words
never have the impact, though at times they do bring
us close, very close, to what's really happening.
