[Arlo had said previously]
Child: I am real, you are an illusion. [Soliptic thinking]

Adult: We are both real. [S/O thinking]

Zen Adult: We are both illusions. [Buddhist thinking]

MOQ Adult: Okay, so we are philosophically both illusions, but how
can we make use of this illusion to build rotisseries, maintain our
motorcycles and sail our boats in the best way possible.

[Arlo adds]
Gah! I forgot to mention the reason for this addition.

I think the real-illusion-real cycle Marsha mentions is the
"adult-zen adult-moq adult" cycle above.

The illusion-real-illusion cycle I mention is the "child-adult-zen adult".

So you see these are not contradictory, simply different in terms of
where you start with that analytic knife.
