Hi Ron

Some good point. We do not value parenting very highly it seems, should
it be paid for, this is an old feminist issue about unpaid work in the
home is it not?

DM

Hello DM,
I think it focuses squarely on the responsibility of parents, making it
a feminist issue
belabors the point. Addressing effects rather than cause is the problem,
the social
edification of the self is the issue, not unpaid work in the home. If
selflessness
and dedication to the development of children were paramount, payment
would not be an issue,
niether would promescuity and social decline in values.
