By chaos, I'm referring to where no static
latches occur, no static patterns occur, and thus,
dynamic quality would never organize.  I understand
what you refer to as chaos organizing into patterns
static enough to be distinct and orderly.  These seem
to be two difference understandings.  What do you
think?

I think that order is a subset of Chaos or if you prefer Static is a subset
of Dynamic. Also once latched pattern emerge they can and do interact
dynamically. Evolution is the study of how these patterns interact over
time. It applies at all levels regardless of how the levels are conceived.
