No, Bo does seem not to understand the fact that he is
Working within the culture, he does but he doesn't.
We may only understand the world through culture
But western culture is not the only culture.
The root of human experience is what Pirsig refers to
As pre-intellectual, and through this we may transcend
Our cultural differences.
It is culture which can bind us, it is culture which may
blind us .
