I understand perfectly well that I am inside a culture, but what the
MOQ means (to me) is tearing myself loose from the Western
SOM (intellectual level) culture, to enter the Quality Culture.

Ron:
Bo, please excuse my provocative tact as I was purposely trying to
Garner your attention. I am pleased we are on the same page, it means
A great deal that we share a common understanding in regard to what
MoQ means in a cultural interpretation.

biggest cultural concept there is, but within the levels there are
countless sub-cultures. Even at the biological level we speak
about bacteria cultures ..etc..

The Western culture is the one where intellectual level dominates
but it surely has many sub- and sub-sub-sets. Likewise there is
one major culture where social value dominates and just as many
sub-sets. This is no fixed order, my Norway was social-focussed
(religion-dominated) a mere century ago.

Bo:
Pre-intellect in the MOQ means the social level. If you mean the
"pre-intellect" of ZAMM, it's existence's dynamic component.

We can certainly transcend intellect (in its SOM capacity) to
reach the MOQ culture .... or variations thereof, as I believe
(Pirsig saying) the Oriental cultures are.

Ron:
It helps to view pre-intellect as before social, more individual, for
social creates symbol.
Yet I see what you mean that not all culture is intellectual, not by our
cultural definition of intellect at least. It seems the interpretation
Lies in the complexity as it relates to the abstract in social symbol
And meaning.
Yet, the personal individual experience, the ones we share
With all biological creatures before the social meaning, on any level,
Seems to me to be the root of the matter, the one common thread that
runs Through all living creatures.
