Thanks Bo, Platt ... I've already said your points about "celebrating the individual" and the DQ relevance of freedoms and participation and responsibility etc - no argument, no brainer. Doh ! I said, same as you did to Arlo.
But It's a big leap to say that the individual is "therefore" distinction between social and intellectual. Attractive though it is we've talked ourselves out of it many times before. We must proceed through finer detail as Bo says. You can understand why some of us find you "ignorant" Platt (in the strict sense of the word) ?
