Evolution changes laws.  Evolution changes existence.  Laws of existence are
laws of change.  The existence of a culture resides in the individuals.

Evolution describes the process of change it does not actively do anything.
New laws may emerge from the evolutionary process but evolutionary processes
do not change the laws of physics. Evolution is the dynamic response to
those static laws.

IMO that is too great a dependency on chance. Everything becomes meaningless
in that metaphysics.

Actually meaning arises from that metaphysics. It grows out of the organic
process of the universe unfolding. You and I create meaning. It does not
create us.
