Hi Marsha/Ian

Well luckily we are all different, I certainly have no problem
with the value of virtual activity, but of course it will not always
prove valuable, same as anything else, we are never operating
with complete foresight, how boring would that be? Personally
apart from a few discussion forums I have never tried virtual
life. But it's all still life, good and bad.

Agreed ... this was my point that virtual worlds have learning value,
because the new "riskier" possibilities have less tangible downside in
the virtual worlds .... hence more opportunity for exploration / DQ.

David, Ian,

Why not just do drugs? It seems to me that risk-taking means _doing/being_ in the face of risks, not by diminishing risk. I decided that smoking marijuana was cheating. I stopped. Or maybe should only be used on very special ritual occasions. Drugs or virtual games, both seem to be a crutch. Becoming clear means becoming clear, not just an altered personality. Meditation seems to be the correct course of action, but, of course, I can be as lazy as most.
