Multiculturalism has little to do with attitudes, it just describes a society
with many different ethnic inhabitants. It can however give rise to
"attitudes", animosity usually. For instance the old Austrian/Hungarian
Empire was known for its multiculturalism and its old capital Wien also
become a hotbed of antisemittism that influenced Hitler who spent his
younger days there. Arlo also goes somewhat lightly over dress and
nutrition codes that are religiously motivated and those that climate
and what is available dictates. For Jews and Muslims the mentioned
outfits are religious signs as is Halal and Kosher food (a ceremonial
way of slaughtering animals). It has nothing in common with German
würst or Japanese (and Norwegian) whale dishes. All in all a most
shallow analysis, but what is to be expected from one who rejects the
SOL? ;-)
