Multiculturalism is, at its core, about respecting the non-important
differences, the "cultural clothing", that has appeared in wonderous
diversity
across this globe. From being at peace with Jews wearing kippahs, or
Muslims
wearing hijabs, to tribes that tatoo or piece their body with
ornamentations,
from respecting Japanese that eat urchin to Inuit that eat whale, to
Germans
that eat Wurst, from not showing the sole of your foot to someone who's
culture
deems that an insult, to explaining why in your culture it is not. Its
about
learning to speak another's language while teaching them your own.
This is very true.
