Hmmm, we could start with food and do a Metaphysics of Quality Food analysis, and describe how Crawdad Etouffee is a higher evolutionary stage than the Beav's local all-you-can-eat popcorn shrimp.
Seriously, though, any depth of analysis is too big a job in an intimate multi-culture analysis. Most of us barely have ken of one culture let alone two, and three is damned unusual in depth. One sense I have, reading what came before is the tension between the interactivity of cultures in a person-by-person 'organic' way and the "cultural supremacy-exclusivist" point of view, which I think is more myth than reality. Put another way, I am not sure some of the responses are even pointing at the same thing as the original posts...it feels a bit cognitively disonant. (I prefer the Etouffee...) thanks--mel > > Moq_Discuss mailing list > Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. > http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org > Archives: > http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ > http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/ Moq_Discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
