There are other similarities too. For instance, Vishvarupa is something
experienced beyond sense perception just like quality is undifferentiated
reality. I had read the Gita a long time back and it is voluminous. There
are many concepts described in the Gita that you may find interesting. It
explains the problems associated with mind & matter - soul, time etcetera.

I would also suggest you read Capra's Tao of Physics. I found it has good
quotes from the gita and the vedas.
