Platt to Andre:
If experience is the starting point, time is presumed. So it begs the
question. "When did the starting point begin?" I don't know of any
answer given by Pirsig. So I'd be interested in yours.

Andre:
Reality (Quality) is experience. Point zero, time zero. The moment of
zero containing the universe. Time is superfluous.

Please Platt, remember that Phaedrus compared Quality with the
Tao...the Way, the Buddhist emptiness.

We are talking about existence (patterned) and non- existence
(unpatterned). At the cutting edge of this moment there is: not
this-not that... but an emptiness that is full.

I think that to try to understand Mr.Pirsig and his MoQ fully you must
experience the nothing. Totally nothing. Absolutely nothing. It is
vital to keep all concepts out of the DQ. If you insist you are
following a different path from the MoQ..which is fine but then do not
use the MoQ to justify your path...you are on your own. Which is fine.

Zennies would say that , that is the way to go...well go...but do not
abuse the MoQ in the process.

Kind regards
Andre
