Platt,

It's extremely incoherent to assert as true that truth is relative. But, in

I don't know much about modern art and all species of liberalism have about
run their course but I agree that choosing incoherence as value is an
ongoing mystery to me. Why would anybody?

A possible answer came to my attention a few days ago, a quote of Aldous
Huxley admitting to a decision of intellectuals to do away with values,
because they wished to be free from sexual restraints. To be fair, he was
only admitting on his part and construing his reality to others according to
his best surmise. But as an MoQist who takes the social as the fundamental,
it makes sense to me.

Even philosophers need to get laid. Spread an anything-goes-values-free
metaphysics glorifying intellect as value with science and the academy at
the top o' the heap, and you're bound to have better luck and more variety
at the local pub on a friday night. That's my theory.

And here's what you got. All the effects around us and still Moronists in
the MoQ trying to push their valueless values.

tsk tsk indeed.

Loyally yours,

John
