[Tim] I'm not sure exactly why you brought 'heart' into this conversation. If you want it to be 'biological' I can start to understand it from that perspective for you. Perhaps I shouldn't have submitted to the term 'hearts and minds' either...? Anyway, what I had been referring to was something else. Something along the lines of the 'romantic' maybe. A different kind of 'intellect' (as in intellectual level) from purely rational. In fact, 'purely rational' may not ever be properly meaningful; what passes for it now, language (including math), always involves a 'starting in the middle'. I'm not sure what you were getting at in equating spirit to subjective.
