A metaphysics is an intellectual pattern of value. You mentioned Bo and Platt, both advocates of the intellectual level being SOM. You mentioned 'major flaw'. Put them together and I may, with all reasonableness presume you are referring to the intellectual level. It appears to me that you really have a problem with the use and role of language here, and you state this in your posts to Arlo and dmb. Language is supposed to be a means of conveying meaning. You appear not to do this. You cannot 'read between the lines' and every response to you by anyone here who does this,i.e. trying to find out and respond to what you MEAN meets with slippery denial since, as you say: "I did not mention..." this or that or the other... literally i.e by using the exact same word(s)you used. Well, keep on writing yourself posts Marsha because this approach is frustrating, unreasonable and at times outright dishonest.
