Hi MarshaV and all,

Metaphysics is not Physics! Pirsig suggested DQ (indefinable) SQ
(definable) as the base of metaphysics. I experience the indefinable. I
experience the definable. DQ/SQ.

How can definable SQ be a higher level than indefinable DQ?

The concept of evolution is necessary to describe a hierarchy of levels in
existence! A definition of existence as DQ/SQ is necessary and more
far-reaching than a metaphysics of DQ alone. Definable intellect is more
encompassing than indefinable emotions. In this sense SQ enhances DQ.
