This is what I do. The "let my self completely
experience each passing second" is 'being alert' as in
'the bird while flying is attentive to the white
blossom in the way'. This is spring and a new flower
in the bird's flying path would be disrupt the bird if
the bird didn't simply fly around the flower. It's
recognition and honor. By honor I'm suggesting one
identify the presence of something for what it is.

Yes, 'active Zen'. Participating with the world.
Being alert and attentive. Recognizing what's
happening, which includes our heartbeat and
interactions with other people and trees. I put one
foot here and the next foot here, careful not to fall
on a slippery rock while I fish.
As to this interesting idea you conceived, we
have those and share those and ideas can change the
world. It is this change, the 'active Zen', the
participation I like to see. Where I work their are
residents who are troubled youth. Some can talk and
talk and have all kinds of ideas, but if they can't
behave these ideas, then nothing has changed. When
the system is in place, the bees rove, the insects
move about, butterflies fly north, the rain falls, and
the sun shines - the trees will give fruit.

thanks.
