We Dibel at their grade level for the 3 benchmarks (Fall, Winter, and
Spring). Depending on the student's fluency rate (my cut off chart is at
school), we progress monitor at their reading level. We progress monitor
every 2 weeks. Progress monitoring is only 1 one minute passage every 2
weeks. An average student (not special ed) should gain about 50 words per
minute per year, I think. I can check on Tuesday when we go back.

Subject: [MOSAIC] Dibbels Assessments

If your school is using Dibbels for fluency assessment, please take a
moment
and explain how your school assesses students. Am I wrong in thinking that

students have to be assessed at their own individual reading level? Our
students are assessed (dibbled) at grade level wheather that is their
reading
level or not. Is this right???
