Does it have lesson plans for 1st?

Our district is working on implementing the ELA core state standards which I
understand is being adopted by every state except Tx and Alaska.  We are working
on common rubrics and grading of reading and writing..

Yes, that's the book.  It is a good book to begin teaching comprehension
strategies.  The teachers at my school loved it because of the concrete lesson
plans.
