Steven Clift's challenge:
"Name two specific changes you would like to see on the city web
site."

Here are Vicky's entries:

1. The 2002 Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR) for the
City.

2. Current year (2003) financial reports (updated monthly) showing
the "Truth in Taxation Budget" categories with "Actual" receipts and
disbursements compared to "Budgeted" receipts and disbursements, both
current month and year-to-date.

Additional items that should be reported on a cumulative basis each
year:

A list of non-performing loans that are owed to the City.
A list of bad debts written off by the City.
A list of grants given by the City.
A list of loans given by the City.
Total pension and healthcare payments for former City employees.
Total payroll and healthcare payments for current City employees.
A complete list of property tax exempt real estate in Minneapolis
(over $7 billion now).
Per capita spending in each budget category compared to St. Paul,
Duluth, Rochester, Bloomington.
Total expenditures to outside law firms and consulting firms.
