Bob, I think you may be inventing a Fictious Friendly by juxtaposing comments made by two separate individuals. However, if it is more convenient for you I will coin the term Park Board Bullies and start using it to refer to the people who apparently didn't grow up with Sesame Street.
Bob Fine created the perception of conflict of interest in hiring his friend. He further magnified the perception of conflict of interest by slipping him into the job instead of having him go through the process like everyone else. I've listened to a partial recording of the meeting. John Erwin's comments in the meeting, on the list, and through the press have stood out as sincere and reasonable. It is certainly easy to understand why some Commissioners go public for support when they are disenfranchised by their very peers. Your worthy cohorts are of course the "Friendly Four" __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Find out what made the Top Yahoo!
