I would hope to have cameras at 42nd,46th and Portland. I think some folks thing that 
Portland Ave is freeway at times.

I've never heard of such a beast -- a Stop Sign Camera.  But if they 
exist, one installed at my neighborhood corner issuing $100 tickets (for 
example) could easily generate $10,000 a day in fines just ticketing 
just the most egregious offenders.

So I certainly support red light cameras, even though I am generally 
opposed to enforcement of traffic violations solely to generate revenue, 
which all too often is the motivation for speeding ticket traps and 
probably even red light cameras.  I'm sick of lawless, arrogant and/or 
incompetent drivers terrorizing city streets and pedestrians.
