The issue isn't whether Steve in an employee of TI or not.  Steve has
made worthwhile contributions, and I'm guessing he needs a lot more
support from TI.

The real issue is why TI made a decision not to provide better support
for Linux users.  Linux is clearly winning the majority of embedded
system applications that need a powerful OS, and there are many choices
for systems where Linux is more than what's needed.

Is there anyone from TI that monitors this list and cares to answer that
question?

job was offered just because of the work, MSPGCC developer did.
