As far as I was aware the Project Status was always just a label - hence the dropdown selection. Dynamic updating of the status might be useful but I actually prefer manual updating as it's a prompt to consider factors other than pure task completion e.g. in a commercial environment, stakeholder sign off prior to completion. It would also be impossible to calculate a suspended status. While on this subject though, I would like to see "cancelled" added to the status list.
