I have an issue with this, also. Coming from an MS Project background-- to me, a Project *is* a folder (in that it contains a number of things to be done that, when they are all done, completes the project).
Having an open checkbox with checkboxes under it "offends my sensibility" (that is, it just looks wrong!). Given that Projects aggregate or roll-up content from the tasks beneath them (like time required), I have previously proposed that Projects automatically be folders AND %complete, In Progress-status, be based solely on the subtasks (read-only on the project, essentially). A lot of the features in this area still feel broken-- it is "conventionally wrong" to have a Project aggregate time required to complete, for example, but still have to mark the Project (which I've set as a folder) to be complete in order for the progress bar to fill in. I know, I'm nit-picky-- but this in anomalous behavior to me. Whew.. feels good to get that off my chest. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
