Hey Richard, You can use the automatic formatting rules to make a project task "different" then a regular task. This is in the desktop version. You can make the text bold, change the font size or text color, change the background color or add an icon. All kinds of things.
To me making the folder a project modifies what tasks show up in the next action ToDo view.
