Dwight, My posts are still moderated, so this comes before my 1st reply gets posted. Anyway: Still working with Zoom and now a couple custom views. I think your suggestion is starting to click. Here's what I have now. Much simpler setup using fewer views and a couple tabs. I'm liking this alot.
<https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-OZtWWnfQVmI/VgflA5vRFgI/AAAAAAAAjYU/UxOrBiev2FQ/s1600/mlo%2Bviews%2B2.PNG> One thing I'm struggling to resolve with Zoom. Since I have multiple folders and subfolders, I like to zoom into a folder to work on it for a while so I can turn off the rest of the noise. This is case-by-case and what I had seen to be the primary purpose for zoom in my previous setup. Zoom-in still works great in this setup. But Zoom-out zooms back to the root rather than the "pre-zoomed" setup for the tab: H for Home; W for Work. With a top-level parent filter, zoom can't zoom to the root - or at least you can't see anything outside the filtered folder. If you follow what I'm saying, how do you deal with this? Thanks again, Bob On Friday, September 25, 2015 at 12:08:34 PM UTC-4, Dwight Arthur wrote: > > Hi Bob, I will discuss proper operation of filters and such with you later > but first I wanted to help you get the zoom right, because it is designed > for what you are doung and works well. > > You said that *"Zooming into one of [your views] sets the zoom for all of > them."* It sounds as though you are using the option to synchronize zooms > across workspaces.
