Athena,
I sooo agree! And it works so well too! When you're labeled as a "she's so
busy I have book her in advance" the more they+others want you!

Subject: NailTech:: Re: answering phone/ Marketing ideas--was donation etc

Sometimes I answer the phone saying_"its a great day for a manicure,
thanks for calling SPAthena Healthy Pedicures, how may Ihelp you!
Now I have changed my phone message to advertise Minx telling them
appts are very limited! Says so on my new minx site too!

When I'm going to be off on a day that I'm normally wkin I make sure
the reception tells them I am booked that day....same goes for when I
take off early or longer at lunch. Point is make them think you are
busy all the time.

If I could stress one important thang.....walk every client to the
book and rebook them. If you need.to intice them to get into the
habbit then .offer a discount for rebooking. This is a huge reason
why I am slammed in jan and many are standin round. I gave discounts
$5 off to only the ones who say they can never....on the flip
side.....the clients in need of a lot of callus "smoothing" .....has
to come back in a certain time or I charge and xtra $5!

Hope I didn't get to off topic!
Peace yall
