Easy Sugar Cookies 
2-3/4 cups flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup Crisco butter flavor shortening the sticks kind
2 eggs
1 teaspoon cold milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add one egg at a time and mix after each 
addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt adding i to the 
mixture and mix then add the cold milk. Let it rest 10 minutes. Drop 
by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375ºF until lightly 
brown about 8 to 12 minutes. You drop by tablespoon on greased cookie 
sheet and take a glass and dip in cold water and then flatten the 
cookie then sprinkle with sugar or colored sugar. Bake at 375ºF until 
lightly brown or 8 to 10 minutes.

Olive and Corn Dip
2-8 ounce pkg. cream cheese at room temp
1-1ounce package of ranch dressing mi1 red bell pepper (or any color) 
chopped fine
1-41/2 ounce can chopped ripe olives drained
1-13 ounce can whole kernel corn drained
1-4 ounce can copped green chili's( these only have a good flavor not 
hot) drained
tortilla chips or corn chips

Beat cream cheese and ranch mix till smooth then stir in remaining 
ingredients mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Take out 30 
minutes before serving so it can soften a bit and not beak the chips.
