Nothing special, really. The console had points and we just punched it in-- no mods.
I was following Mark's suggestion and I didn't even reseat the master module-- just wiggled it a bit and that seemed to fix it for a bit, although I didn't do a very scientific test. We pulled the master module out recently to put in a second set of echo returns and I must not have seated it properly. It's been fine for years. If I component had failed I think I would have noticed some degradation of sound, but I think it's either that something got jostled in the patch bay or I need to reseat the module. I'll do a more rigorous test today.
