Guys-- I tried reseating the module and that caused it to stop passing signal all together. I reseated it again and it seems to be working better. I still have to balance L+R via the pots on the little module to the left of the master module (don't know the name) but it's working fine and I can get work done. So I'll leave it.
At some point though I need to fix it for real. I also have a problem where the levels of various busses are not the same, but again, it's deal-with-able for now. Thanks for the help.
