Hi Matt,
I owned a Series 2 that developed a similar problem. It's been quite
a few years, but I think my tech traced it to the switch in the
master section that mutes everything except the reverb returns......I
can't remember exactly what that switch was labeled, though. I think
a good cleaning, or maybe just exercising it cleared it up.
Hope that helps!

Hi Neotrekkies:
My S2 is having a weird problem. The left side is 3 or 4 db lower than
the right side. I tested this in several different ways and the
conclusion is inescapable.
What could be the problem? I remember when Greg Norman from Electrical
Audio was working on our board he repunched (punch block repunched)
individual multitrack channels and that solved a similar problem.
Could the same have happened due to the installation of our ATR-100?
If not, how should I look for the issue.
Best,
Matt
