Doesn't the installer advise you at the end of the process that a reboot
is required before system changes will take effect? I haven't installed
any Vapor/Active software in over 6 months, so I can't be sure, but I
guess even then that it's easy to miss this info when you're all fired up
to try out the latest bit of kit.
