Hi, Bablos ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).

Basically a program that was sold through 1999 not to be Y2K compliant
is a suprise. When the latest version of that program required
updateing days before the new year to fix the Y2K bug is even more
surprising. Surely testing for Y2K compliance should of been done at
least with the last NC-2 release in Feb99.
Fortunatly NC3 users are in a better position than NC2 users are
because they can use the Vapor updates.
So where's that leave NC-2 users who may of purchased it within the
last six months?
Secound class because their versions use a NetConnect2.KEY where as
NC3 and vapor users can use the latest versions because of differing
keyfiles?.
Ok paying too upgrade to add new features is one thing but for a Y2K
bugfix is entirely another?
If nothing else that isn't ethical.
So come on, lets see a Y2K fixed version of the NC2 version of MD2.

Either way it will not detract from the fact that there is a Y2K issue
with (all ?) pre v1.4.4 releases of MD-2. Vapor and NC3 users got the
fix but NC-2 users are not eligable?
Surely it is possible to release a Y2K bugfixed version of the NC-2
MD2 (If the sources are still available for the older version). If
the sources are not available then a one off version of MD 1.4.4 which
will work with the NC2 keyfile is the ethical way to fix the problem.
