I presume you mean Active Technologies. Trading Standards in the UK
state that as far as they are concerned the company still does exist
and that the company still has liability for its software regardless
of its status which makes most of your point redundant, sorry that's
the truth of it from the legal authority on the subject in the UK.

Yes this email client is NOT Y2K complient - blame it on no update for
